The First Project

Gaea and I are starting our first house project together. We're cleaning up the upstairs - tearing up the carpet, repainting, and cleaning. Gaea is really excited:



















We moved all the stuff from one room to another, ripped out all the nasty green astroturf carpet, then started scraping the blue paint off the floor. After about 5 minutes Gaea got a giant paint chip in her eye. She got it out but said no more scraping until we have safety glasses. So we headed to home depot. We got a paint scraper and blades, 5 cans of paint, masking tape, safety glasses, cleaning supplies, paint rollers and pans, and other stuff. By the time the paint was done mixing, we'd probably spent an hour in home depot. And we were hungry. So we went home and had a snack:




















Then we went back to work scraping paint. Gaea worked on the floor and I worked on the walls. Then we got tired and quit.
